Tooth Fillings

Fillings are a common treatment for cavities. To add a filling, the dentist will remove the decayed portion of the tooth with a handpiece. Then, a composite resin will be placed in place of the hole where the decay was present.

Dental Crowns

If you have a large cavity that is too big for a filling, it may be time for a crown. You may also need a crown if your tooth is severely worn down, cracked, and/or weakened. Crowns are also recommended following a root canal on a tooth, because the tooth is more fragile and needs protection.

Veneers

Dental veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length. Veneers are routinely used to fix teeth that are discolored because of, root canal treatment, stains, excessive fluoride, and large resin fillings

PROSTHODONTICS

Complete Dentures

Made after all the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has begun to heal, a conventional denture is ready for placement in the mouth about eight to 12 weeks after the teeth have been removed.

Partial Dentures

A removable partial denture or bridge usually consists of replacement teeth attached to a pink or gum-colored plastic base, which is sometimes connected by metal framework that holds the denture in place in the mouth. Partial dentures are used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw.

Bridges

When you have suffered significant tooth loss, gaps in your teeth can hinder your ability to chew and speak. Dental bridges improve your chewing and speech ability significantly. Dental bridges also improve the appearance of your smile by boosting aesthetics. Gaps in your teeth can adversely affect your smile’s aesthetic appeal. By closing these gaps, dental bridges boost your
self-confidence as well. Dental bridges are usually light and comfortable. They are effective, permanent solution to the problem of tooth loss.
